We’re Going Home: Reentry for Elementary Children by Ron & Bonnie Koteskey
This download also includes I Don’t Want to Go Home: Parent’s Guide for Reentry for Elementary Children.

Written at a third grade level, We’re Going Home includes the story of a family returning to its passport culture. Each chapter also has activities such as scrambled words, crossword puzzles, word searches, mazes, and codes. Ron also wrote I Don’t Want to Go Home (54 pages) as a companion volume for parents. Each chapter in the parent’s book has information about TCKs in the Bible, children’s TCK issues today, and suggestions to help children reenter well. Both books are included in file to be downloaded above. Also available at the site in versions for Kindles, Nooks, Sony eReaders, MS Word file and a .zip archive.

Webpages

 Changing Zip Codes.

The author of this website is very experienced in moving (22 moves in the US) and offers some helpful insights to help those moving to cling to their faith during times of change. Although her experiences have all been domestic moves, her suggestions and insights are easily transferable for international moves.

Transition Programming in International Schools: An Emergent Mandate by Barbara F. Schaetti.

Go to Resources and Products to see some of the articles there. This article will be about halfway down the page.

According To My Passport, I'm Coming Home by Kay Branaman Eakin

This is the full book written from a U.S. perspective so only parts of it may be relevant to students re-entering other passport cultures.

THE OUTSIDER INSIDE: When TCK’s Go To School "Back Home" by Joy Ashford Lewis

This focuses on American Culture, but those from other cultures can relate. The comments are as good as the article as various TCKs share the struggles they had returning to their passport culture.

 Rocky Re-entry

This resource is aimed at adult repatriation to the US. This blog contains experiences from others who have already transitioned in hopes that their experiences will provide encouragement to others.
