Gentry, Pam - Pam Gentry has experience around the world in a variety of traditional and non-traditional education settings. She began her odyssey in education as a public school speech therapist, having certification in speech therapy, learning and language disabilities, and the multiply handicapped.
From 1989 ntil 2013 Pam and her husband served with SIL. That service included 10 years on a remote atoll in the Solomon Islands where she homeschooled their four children and directed a women's literacy program. This was followed by four years in a large Central Asian city where she filled various teaching and administrative roles at an international school.
Pam and her husband have put a great deal of time and thought into shepherding their four children through the many transitions of life overseas. Their oldest two are currently married and working in Texas while the younger two are still in university.
Giezendanner, Jenny - Jennifer Giezendanner and her husband (Ruedi) have been serving on the field for over 20 years. They homeschooled their four children for 15 years during that time. Jennifer has her M.A. in Linguistics from University of Texas at Arlington. They now live in Southeast Asia.
Haag, Sharon - Sharon Haag grew up as a third culture kid (TCK) along the northern border of Mexico. She received her K-8 teaching degree through Biola University and an MS in school counseling and School Psychologist’s credential through Cal State Long Beach. She joined SIL in 1974 and taught TCKs in southern Mexico, piloted the Field Education System (FES – a support program for homeschooling families) in Guatemala, and was an itinerant teacher in Cameroon. Since 1990 she has worked from SIL's Dallas office and most recently from WBT's Orlando offices supporting homeschooling families overseas and doing educational evaluations and consultation.
Klassen, Elvin - Elvin Klassen recently retired following a career as a teacher, principal, and district administrator in Canada.
Lance, Dr. Wayne D. - Dr. Wayne D. Lance has a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Educational Administration from the University of Redlands. He received his Ed.D. in Special Education from Peabody College, Vanderbilt University. He has taught upper elementary grades and special education. Wayne was the Assistant Prefessor at California State University, Fullerton, and a professor at University of Oregon. He served with WBT for ten years.
